We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to assist them on an exciting project for managing teams/suppliers and delivery in challenging environments to support large scale big data / BI programmes & projects.Who will you be working for?RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Logistics, Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs.What will you be doing?RPS is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work across two project streams within the clients Business Intelligence team to manage the project delivery process, negotiating supplier agreements and ensuring the project delivers as planned within the agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality. Its initially a 3 months contract with view to extend as this programme is running for 2 years plus.· Experience: This role will require a senior leader, who has experience of being the bridge between teams, and where necessary, transforming them to ensure continued performance.· Skills: Looking for someone with extensive experience in large scale big data / BI programmes & projects and also working experience on large scale data warehouse programmes. Ideally experience with big data tools such as Hadoop, Qlikview, Business Objects, Teradata, Google cloud. Experience of managing teams/suppliers and pushing delivery in challenging environments.The role is based in Farringdon, LondonDoes this role sound like you?
