IT Project Manager

Bradford

circa £400 per dayMy Client is searching for a Project Manager for an initial three month project in Bradford.Key Responsibilities:

* Work with the manager of Programme Delivery to strive and exceed the stretching Return on Investment for individual projects.

* To manage a portfolio of projects across the Business Support Group and Business Units

* To promote new ideas for consideration at Programme Board

* To ensure a robust governance process is adhered to for all projects

* To manage all risks within the portfolio and to report these risks to the Programme Manager

* Demonstrate and embed project management best practice across Business Support Group and wider communityKnowledge and Skills:

* Experience of managing and leading a project team with a proven track record of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.

*Experience of managing projects involving people change

* Experience of business planning, resource and budget management.

* Develops and maintains effective internal and external relationships.

* Experience of strategic thinking, establishing clear strategic direction and implementing plans to deliver.

* Experience of leading and embedding change, able to influence and drive right culture and behaviours.

* Utilities Experience

* Previous experience in an operational and / or strategic leadership role in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment
