IT Operations Analyst:

£23,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience

Description:

My client are currently recruiting for an IT Operations Analyst to be based within the Newcastle area, this is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week.

The IT Operations is a new occupation within the Infrastructure and Operations team occurring inside the company. The IT Operations Analyst will be accountable for the day to day examining of the company's LAN / WAN and infrastructure server, in addition to management and maintaining the process of patching.

Key Accountabilities:

*Safeguard that services are being monitored in a proactively way.

*Reviewing back-up logs, putting back in the correct steps to eliminate failure.

*Confirm the quickest / most realistic service rebuilding time.

*Carrying out daily inspections, checking on the progression rate, and putting into place suitable action when required.

Essentials:

*Managing and assisting Windows server and infrastructure network.

*Conformation of patching technology and proficient within SCCM, WSUS.

*Formation of monitoring technology within SolarWinds, LAN Sweeper)

Desirable:

*Understanding and involvement of system and networking infrastructures (LAN and WAN technologies)

*Capability to identify Windows server or networking alerts or problems.

It would be highly advantageous but NOT essential for the following:

*ITIL certification

*MCITP, MCSE or MCSA qualification

*Any additional IT certification (eg. CCNA - Cisco Networks)

*Operating within a wide spanned environment, with an importance on Networking and Service Operations.
