We currently have an opportunity for a Technical Architect to join one of our major clients based in Central London. They are a leading government department who work at the forefront of UK law.

As organised crime in the UK continues to change it is important that the department has a strong ability to change with it. In order to assist with this they are currently undergoing an ambitious transformation where they are developing an agile operating model where their resources and capabilities are flexible enough to respond to, and tackle, the most complex, challenging areas of criminality.This role will focus on co-ordinating the delivery of an exciting and challenging build of key operational capabilities within the organisation.

Responsibilities:Provide strategic technical leadership and architectural design to drive forward the provision of capabilities and services that enable and enhance the business.Set the strategic direction for the development and maintenance of the applications strategy and roadmap to ensure these align with agency strategic direction.Establish and maintain architectural principles, standards, blueprints, roadmaps and transitions states that underpin all IT design and delivery in the organisation.Lead the work with projects to embed the architectural design gates within the overall governance process ensuring reference information is published, maintained and readily available.Provide professional leadership and development for technical architects across the organisation etc

Candidates must be eligible for SC level security clearance.
