In this role, you will:

Be part of a high performing team of SAP Basis / NetWeaver specialists to design, install, configure and maintain the SAP system landscape, whilst ensuring high availability, optimal performance and overall data security and integrity. You will work closely with the Finance Systems Governance & Control (FSGC) Team, regional Technology teams and the Global SAP Teams, to ensure an 'always on' experience for our internal customers, and a high satisfaction rate for customer service across our business.

Role Description:

o Monitor, update and maintain the SAP Application, database, OS, environments and interfaces, ensuring they are simple, cost effective and operationally efficient, whilst supporting our business' needs.

o Ensure environments are kept in synch and documented with changes across Operational Support and Change Delivery.

o Conduct regular housekeeping and system administration tasks, for optimal system performance and availability, including: Backups, monitoring and predictive alerts, database maintenance (HANA), System exports, copies and restores, data archival tasks, batch job scheduling and maintenance, and component specific maintenance.

o Plan, review and implement SAP Patches, support packages and notes. Work with SAP to resolve bugs in the platform.

o Ensure good quality user roles and authorisation setup and maintenance.

o Conduct transports according to relevant protocols, with appropriate documentation.

o Conduct regular Disaster Recovery tests, as per the defined system criticality rating. Work with the business to review and optimise this process.

o Provide auditing and security reports to maintain adherence to ITCG and SOX compliance.

o Provide appropriate on call support for the business, especially during month end processes.

o Ensure the current SAP Platform is documented and updated for each change.

You'll have:

· Deep technical knowledge and experience of SAP NetWeaver, Hana databases, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, BO/BW, PO/PI, Opentext, OCR services, and Data Services.
