Job Title: Trainee Telecom EngineerLocation: BridgendSalary: £16,000 - £20,000 Job Type: Full Time, PermanentThey are a well-established, award winning Telecommunications Company based in Bridgend and their primary focus is to ensure the best customer service possible.An exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our thriving organisation as a trainee telecom engineer. As a member of the engineering team you will have excellent customer service skills matched with a practical and solution-based approach to all customer requirements. You will have a basic understanding of business telecoms and telephone systems. You will be comfortable working as part of a team with a view to work on your own with a customer focused approach.Key Responsibilities:Installing telephone systems for clientsConducting one on one / group and remote training with clients on all of the productsWorking with various departments throughout the Company to ensure the best customer experience for our clientsAttending client sites to resolve faults when they are raised to the in-house support teamDeveloping your knowledge on the products and services to be able to upsell to clientsProviding 1st class customer service to all customers both face to face and over the phoneRequirements:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent customer service skillsIT skillsAbility to work to deadlines with good time managementKeen to learn new technologies and willing to develop through self-learningBased in South Wales Full UK driving licenseAbility to use hand and power toolsDesired but not essential:Knowledge of telecoms systemsExperience in installing phone systemsBasic understanding of networkingThere will be full training provided for the chosen candidate.
