 Loughborough University is seeking to appoint an outstanding Network & Communications Team Manager to effectively lead and manage Networks and Unified Communications within a top 10 UK University.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future as the University embarks on the procurement of a brand-new Software Defined Network using Cisco technology and as we start to review the future Unified Communications strategy.

 You will use your knowledge, experience and skills to deliver both development projects and operational services that make a daily difference to the work of staff, students, guests, and tenants on both the Loughborough and London campuses.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of IT (Infrastructure and Operations), you'll be collaboration focused and results driven, with strong team management and leadership skills to develop a high performing team in a large busy IT Service environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential along with the ability to multi-task concurrent projects across a variety of groups within the University to a high standard.

Candidates will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent along with further professional qualifications and demonstrable passion and enthusiasm for technical networking and the Higher Education environment.
