My client is looking for an experienced .Net web developer to join their online services team working on a variety of different projects across all aspects of web design and development in a fast-paced result orientated environment.Key responsibilities '€¢To develop sites in line with the requirements within a short space of time. The websites you develop will be in regular use.'€¢To use initiative and identify opportunities to move the business forward'€¢To take ownership of aligned projects and deliver on time and to budget'€¢Ensure that all development activities are carried out efficiently to a very high standard and that they adhere to the methodologies and standards in place'€¢Ensure that sites are developed with performance & code reuse in mind and are sufficiently tested using a combination of automated and manual testing techniques.'€¢Ensure that the managers are kept informed of progress, issues, and difficulties and provide proposals to overcome identified problems and concerns. Skills and experience: '€¢Experience of working on commercial websites with the following technologies is essential: '€¢C# .NET 4.7'€¢MVC 5,'€¢Entity Framework 6 Code First and Transact-SQL'€¢JavaScript Frameworks such as JQuery and Knockout.js'€¢Experience developing responsive web sites for various mobile devices and desktop browsers'€¢Experience of working with the following technologies would be an advantage '€¢Visual Studio 2017 with VSTS/TFS'€¢.NET Core 2.0 and/or Entity Framework Core 2.0'€¢Web API / Web Services'€¢Sass/CSS'€¢Azure Web Applications, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage'€¢Utilising Redis Cache'€¢Working in an Agile team adopting Continuous Delivery'€¢Selenium '€¢Knowledge of unit testing would be preferable '€¢Good communication skills'€¢Proven time management and organisational skills '€¢Should be able to work at all levels of the software development lifecycle by yourself or as part of a team.'€¢Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
