The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) is an armed police service that's dedicated to the nuclear industry. Our vision is to be recognised as a provider of a world-class service for the protection of nuclear material and facilities.

The Operational Communications Team is responsible for the police radio systems (currently Airwave) used by front line police officers and control room staff. 

As an Operational Communications System Administrator, you will play your part by making sure our front-line police always have the tools to communicate effectively through ensuring that the core activities of a Service Management function are delivered.

As part of this team, you will be the first point of contact, giving advice and information. You'll also provide 1^st line maintenance support, on site and remotely, and see that any faulty Airwave devices are fixed or replaced.

We would expect you to have a strong administrative background and be comfortable dealing with customers and be able to communicate effectively. You'll combine all this with an organised approach, attention to detail and the motivation to get jobs done. Team-focused and good with people, you'll be capable of writing business documents and be able to travel between sites. A full UK/EU driving licence is essential.    

Training will be provided.
