RUBY DEVELOPER - ManchesterSalary up to £38,000My client are looking for a self-motivated and passionate Ruby Developer, with 1+ year commercial experience. They work with household names such as BPP & Breville. They work on a range of bespoke web applications, Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), Content Management Systems (CMSs), eCommerce shop fronts amongst other exciting projects.Your job will entail writing tested code for your assigned projects; as a developer you should be capable of communicating clearly and effectively - both in technical scenarios, and also on a non-technical level, e.g. when liaising with clients. You will also be required to take part in code reviews of other developer's contributions to projects.Required experience:Ruby 2.5+ (We are currently updating to 2.6)Ruby on Rails (5.2+)Database Systems (eg. MySQL, PostgreSQL)JSON API ResourcesTesting (eg. RSpec, FactoryBot)Queue Systems (eg. Sidekiq, Resque).Caching Systems (eg. Redis) Desirable Skills:Git FlowEmberJSesnext codeHandlebars or similar templatingWriting tested code + testing frameworks (eg.
