Solutions ArchitectBirmingham (Solihull)Up to £60,000Flexible working & Work from home!Solutions Architect / Solutions / Architect / Design / Roadmaps / Strategy / IT Strategy / IT Solutions / Business Requirements / Problem Solving / Applications / Dynamics AX 2012 / Azure / Microsoft / ERP / Business DataExperis IT are currently recruiting for a Solution Architect to join one of our key Multinational clients based in Solihull.My client are currently going throughout a large and exciting IT transformation and require talented and knowledgeable Solutions Architects to join the business to help them through the journey. The Solutions Architect works with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Project Managers, delivery teams and operations teams to ratify and translate business requirements into fit-for-purpose and use IT solutions that align with the business and IT strategy, principles, standards, policies, architecture roadmaps and industry best practice.The role produces holistic solution and IT service designs and works closely with delivery and operations teams to ensure these designs are understood, are translated into lower level design and implementation artefacts, and ultimately delivered into a production solution.Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have experience with ERP (Finance/HR/Commercial) applications or Business Data background - Dynamics AX 2012 onwards

ResponsibilitiesTranslate business requirements into IT solutions which align with the business and IT strategy, principles, standards, policies, architecture road maps and industry best practice by:Validating business requirements and understanding business needsIdentifying and assessing solution optionsScoping and governing feasibility assessmentsAssessing effort, risk, costs and complexity for IT solutionsCreating solution and service designs and architecture modelsBalancing functional, service quality, systems management and operational requirementsDefining and assessing the impact of non-functional requirementsProviding implementation oversight and governanceProviding technical and architectural leadershipContributing to the definition of IT strategy, principles, standards, policies and road mapsStrong knowledge of Microsoft products and applications
