SQL DBASolihull£45,000 DBA / Database Administrator / SQL Server / Financial Services / Disaster Recovery Experis IT are currently recruiting for a DBA to join one of our Financial Services Clients based in Solihull, West Midlands This is a new opportunity to join our IT Department as an SQL DB Administrator. As a technical expert you will enjoy working in a fast-past environment, having previous experience dealing with both project work and business as usual. The SQL estate requires overall review, upgrade and consolidation. This role will drive a range of activities designed to consolidate and standardise our databases, improve their performance and resilience and ensure compliance with governance requirements (including new GDPR legislation from May 2018). The role is largely project-aligned initially but will move to a more day-to-day function over time as enhancements to the existing SQL estate are implemented. At such time the role will migrate from the architecture team into DC&Ops.
