Role OverviewWe are currently looking for an Applications Scientist to join a successful Cell Imaging organisation based in Sheffield. As the Application Scientist, you will be responsible for ensuring that current and potential clients are utilising the full potential of their platform. Duties and Responsibilities Your duties and responsibilities as the Application Scientist will vary but your main duties will be:You will demonstrate how the platform can be utilised to its full potential with current and potential clients.You will provide feedback from customers to commercial and product development teams to ensure the continuous improvement of their innovative technology.As the Application Scientist, you will be responsible for development, writing and publishing of technical documentation and training materials.You will use your scientific knowledge and analysis to assist customers and interpret their results.Skills and Education We are looking to identify the following skills an education from your profile:PhD in in the relevant scientific discipline such as Cell Biology, Biochemistry or Genetics and a strong background in cell culture, cell biology and microscopy.Previous experience in statistical methods and other data analysis methodologies applicable to cell based assays and cell imaging analysis is essential to your application.A strong background in cell biology and current knowledge of methods and trends is essential.
