Role Opportunity

My client has undergone a major strategic review which has resulted in an exciting new opening for an experienced permanent, Software Test Analyst at the global headquarters in Walton-on-Thames, Greater London.
This role will be responsible for the QA testing of their Trade Finance SaaS solution for its global corporate clients. The individual will need to write and execute manual user acceptance tests to quality assure deliverable from off-shore and on-shore development teams.
For this role, they are looking for an ambitious individual with a background in manual testing for B2B online solutions. The successful candidate will have genuine hands-on experience working alongside software development teams, either within the IT department of a corporate, a software based product company, bespoke software development company or specialist software testing facility.
Support the Global Test Manager to implement the Test Strategy for the SaaS solution, including testing governance, quality assurance and reportingWorking with the Global Test Manager and development teams to define, create and execute manual functional and non-functional test casesWorking with automation testers to explain the manual test scenarios to understand how to automateWork closely with on-shore and off-shore scrum development teams to ensure the Test Strategy is applied during development
Skills and Experience (E - Essential, D - Desirable)
Previous experience working for either a software product company, SaaS company, bespoke software house or specialist software testing companyExperience of defining and creating both functional and non-functional test cases (E)Experience of testing systems with a web user interface (E), online web forms (E) and APIs (E)An excellent understanding of defect management (workflow), test cycle planning (smoke, functional, non-functional and regression) and test progress reporting (E)Experience of working within Agile development teams (Scrum and Kanban) and use of Agile tools for test purposes : Jira for defect management (E), Zephyr for test case management (D)Experience of working with development teams, both in-house (E) and off-shore (D)Good written and verbal communication skills (E).Ability to articulate technical issues (defects) clearly and concisely (E).Analytical and problem solving skills (D).Any automation experience using Selenium is an advantage (D).Fluent English (E).Any other languages are a bonus but not essential to the role (D).Team player. Comfortable working in a small company environment and hands-on in the sense of doing what needs to be done in a small organisation (E)ISTQB Certification Foundation Level (E)Domain expertise - ideally have some relevant background in at least one or more of the following areas (D): 
               - Trade and/or Trade Finance   
               - Financial services products;
               - B2B services;
               - SaaS products.

The role reports to the Global Test Manager.
The role is based at the global head office in Walton-on-Thames, Greater London. Ability to commute daily to this location is essential.
