Have you ever wanted to be responsible for leading a development team that are producing software solutions to help organisations and people on a daily basis?If so, now is your chance.
My client is looking to recruit a Head of Development to direct and manage to development function of a rapidly expanding Software Development team.
You will ideally understand the full SDLC, and have managed/led development teams in the past. This role will be hands off, however you may be required to help out with coding when necessary.
The role offers a very competitive package, profie shares, remote working is also possible.
Responsibilities
Effectively manage relationships with client contacts (client facing) and internal
development teams
Present work and articulate technical executions at client level
Work within feature guidelines to produce innovative solutions
Train and lead, both formally and informally, members of the team in commercial
and technical skills
Monitor the performance and ability of junior members in the team
Work alongside the founders to improve internal processes
Integrate closely with the QA team to ensure quality is 'baked in'
Essential Skills
Able to produce high quality and standards compliant code
Extensive knowledge of MS SQL Server and Cloud SaaS, PaaS and IaaS (Azure)
8 years experience working with and on the Microsoft Technology Stack
Desirable to have working in mission critical environments
Web API experience
Experience developing for Service Oriented Architectures
