My client is a small and steadily growing consultancy based in Central London, comprised of a team of Business Intelligence consultants working primarily within the Retail and Finance industry.They were established several years ago in Europe, and have recently set up a presence in London, with an aim to strengthen their position in the UK Finance industry, primarily within Retail Banking. They are seeking a proactive Senior Business Analyst Consultant to establish and oversee IT projects with Retail Banking clients, which will essentially utilise BI solutions to allow for effective and forward-thinking decision making. Key Responsibilities: Establishing, building and maintaining relationships with clients primarily within the Financial / Retail Banking industryDesigning functional specifications for projects to meet specific client needsPitching and overseeing the delivery of IT projectsWorking closely with stakeholdersKey Requirements: Experience working in the Finance industry, ideally within Retail Banking Strong understanding of the operations of Financial Institutions such as Retail Banks, Hedge Funds, Private Equity firmsProject Management experience, including end-to-end project life cycles, using tools such as JIRA, Kanban, ConfluenceKnowledge of or experience in data integration projects (ETL, APIs)Understanding of database concepts (e.g. data lake, cloud technology)Strong relationship and stakeholder management skillsBenefits: Salary: £50-65,000Bonus schemeWork from home opportunities Additional Information:Applicants must have the right to reside and work within the UKYou may be required to travel to client siteInterviews will be taking place shortly, so if interested, please apply ASAP.
