This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading organisation as a Reporting Analyst based in Cardiff Client DetailsA leading organisation looking for a Reporting Analyst based in Cardiff DescriptionThe successful Reporting Analyst will be responsible for correlating and analysing a variety of data in order to help the organisation make better decisions to increase efficiency and improve the processes and services offered. Key Responsibilities: Data gathering, data manipulation, data discovery and data profiling. Data analysis & the reporting of analysis - trends / patterns Analyse and interpret M.I. to identify trends / issues / errors /risks etc… Build statistical models Communicate and upskill stakeholders in appropriate and effective use of data for better decision making Develop and implement reporting systems to effectively show relevant information / trends / insights etc… to help identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Implement processes that ensure timely data entry, accuracy and relevance of data. Ensuring integrity, availability, and relevance of all reporting platforms / tools / data Monitor, amend and improve the accuracy and relevance of data Monitor, amend and improve the accuracy of reports and systems Implementation of data procedures such as data mining, data cleansing, data automation etc… Present data in a clear and informative manner to stake holders and non-technical colleagues Understanding of the organisation business plan and the role data can play in it - support the data strategy Work with the IT team to develop data dashboards Deliver scheduled reporting Support the implementation of new technologies that assist data analysis & predictive modelling ProfileThe person Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar BI/MI/Data/Reporting/analytical role Experience of data analysis, interpreting information, reporting, identifying trends and data quality improvements. Experience of BI tools/reporting software - Power BI/Tableau/Qlik/MS Excel etc… Knowledge of database design including data manipulation Advanced querying in SQL Experience of developing high quality reports or dashboards. SQL - desired. Advanced Excel - desired Job Offer£30,000 - £35,000 based on experience + benefits
