Networks & Windows Systems Administrator sought by one of London's largest and most successful Hedge Funds. Our client is a remarkably successful Hedge Fund which has grown exponentially since its launch only a few years back with a current headcount of 100+ and AUM well in excess of $5Bn. To support and further enable this exponential growth they are now looking to add a Network & Systems Administrator to an Infrastructure team currently numbering seven engineers. This hire will take ownership of 1st - 3rd line support of Networks, Firewalls, and Servers as well as working on complex fixes and projects, such as the build and maintenance of Datacentre Infrastructure ranging from Network and Server hardware, SAN arrays, Operating Systems and Server Virtualisation. Our client has a world-class culture of high-performance and collaboration therefore we also require well-presented individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The firm also has a focus on academic excellent therefore a good degree classification is essential. Essential Requirements Cisco Networking, Cisco Voice and Collaboration.DNS, DHCP, GPO, LAN/WAN & VP.Firewall Configuration, ideally Palo Alto.Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Exchange 2016 and Active Directory.VMWare & SQL experience preferred as is exposure to HP Nimble.Experience with Patch Management, Load Balancers and PowerShell preferred otherwise training will be provided.Market Data experience preferred i.e. Bloomberg, FactSet., Reuters..Relevant technical certifications preferred i.e. CCNA/CCNP, MCSEs, VCP..2.1 Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths related subject.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Finance / Hedge Fund / Consultancy experience strongly preferred.
