Spring Technology is currently working in partnership with a leading Institution to recruit a Lead Developer based in London. As the successful Lead Developer you'll perform a variety of software development assignments requiring knowledge of established programming procedures and data processing requirements, maintain and modify programs, also providing software dev support to various projects.
The Responsibilities:
*Some experience in engaging with Business and IT stakeholders with minimal supervision on delivery commitments
*Development of new applications and maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying and remediating software defects, supported by relevant documentation based on PMO guidelines
*Ensure Software testing and quality assurance processes across the organization are followed
*Provide estimates for tasks and the development of new features
*Liaise with internal business users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs
*Performance tuning, refactoring/redesign, automation
*Integrate software with existing enterprise / 3rd party systems
*Adhere to industry standard patters, practices and processes
*Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and/or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications
*Working within a team or individually - depending on project needs.
*Lead a small group of developers undertaking similar activities on a joint project
The Requirements:
*Strong application development experience within a Microsoft .NET based environment including: C#, .NET Framework 4.0 or upwards, MVC, Web API, Web Forms, .NET Core, WCF
*Programming Languages / Mark-up Languages / Scripting Languages - JQuery, HTML 5, XML, XSLT, JSON, CSS
*Development/Design patterns & techniques - SOLID Principles, Good understanding of DevOps, BDD, TDD using NUnit or similar, Agile, CI/CD.
*Database technologies & Frameworks - MS SQL Server 2008 and above, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Entity Framework or other ORM.
*Cloud technologies - Windows Azure
*Architecture patterns - Understanding of service oriented architecture - SOA
*Source code repos - GIT / TFS / SVN
*Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
