Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer London to £75k

Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Python OOP Agile). Would you like to join a technology focussed scale-up FinTech where you can make a real impact whilst enjoying flexible working, casual dress code and little red tape?

Rapidly growing financial start-up that provides SME's with medium to large scale loans is seeking a Python Developer to join their team. You will focus solely on backend development of the company's highly robust, scalable and data intensive loan platform utilising Python technology. As a senior team member you will be mentoring more junior members of the team and will be able to have an input on architectural, scalability and business decisions.

You'll be based in modern City offices with a start-up feel and a collaborative motived team environment.

Requirements:

Strong software development experience including Python

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns)

Computer Science degree (or similar) 2:1 or above

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Desirable: mentoring experience, Agile, TDD
