JavaScript Developer

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer to join our client based in Leeds city centre.

What is the main purpose of the role?

You'll be a key factor in ensuring the clients main customer facing Digital Estate is built using best practice coding and technical development standards. This includes writing code for responsive web (mobile, tablet, desktop) as well as on mobile specific platforms. You will be responsible for developing new and existing components/elements in the Society's CMS platform, hand-writing HTML and JavaScript, testing, delivering and maintaining all areas of the public facing estate.

As a JavaScript Developer you will be a strong with a modern Js framework, used to delivering high-quality software to tight deadlines. Working in the Digital experience team, you will be delivering bespoke solutions in a complex problem space..

Do you have the essential skills and experience for this role?

*Demonstrable significant experience in coding advanced front-end web development and expert ability to hand code HTML5 / CSS / J-Query / JavaScript.

*Experience in Angular with TypeScript (or similar modern UI framework)

*Experience at cross-browser web development

*Demonstrable significant experience in coding solutions for Responsive Design frameworks to an advanced level

*Experience of delivery in Agile development environment

*Understanding of Git or other version control systems

*Ability to ramp-up on new technologies with ease
