Network Engineer - Portsmouth

A Network Engineer is required by prestigious organisation in their Portsmouth offices.As the Network Engineer you will have in-depth experience of installing and configuring Cisco Routers and Switches, and ideally have experience of Firewall products and network virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMWare NSX).Although based in Portsmouth, the candidate will be expected to work at other sites as required - with travel & subsistence provided.

Essential Skills for the Network Engineer:Hold SC clearance (or be eligible for) and willing to go to DV level clearanceProven and in-depth experience and knowledge in the Network discipline, including design, implementation, configuration and testing.CCNA or equivalent experiencePractical experience of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), compression and acceleration techniquesSpecific skills in network security design, implementation, configuration and testing: Firewalls, Guards, Intrusion Detection, IPSec VPN, Computer / router IA lockdown, IP encryption, VOIPWIlling to travel to other sites (25% travel)

Desirable Skills for the Network Engineer:Knowledge of JSP 604 and 440 and associated JSPs would be desirable
