A leading Co. Clare based Global Medical Device company who are leaders in their field are looking for a Buyer Planner to join on a permanent basis. The Company:Based in Shannon, Co. Purpose of Job: The planner/ buyer will have the following direct responsibilities:Purchasing/Call off for all for assigned product families.Purchasing of all consumables associated with manufacture of assigned product families (grinding wheels, tooling etc.)Arranging freight for all shipments.Generating daily, weekly and monthly metrics as required.Provide Cover planning as required. Detailed Responsibilities:Purchasing/ Planning:Run the purchasing workbench on a daily basis and action all requirementsExpedite all shortages as requiredManage consumable inventory levels to ensure quarterly targets are achievedPurchase all consumables required to manufacture your assigned product familiesPurchase all tooling required to manufacture your assigned product familyWhere applicable manage the outside process vendorsMeasure vendor supply performance.Issues purchasing performance metrics as defined by the supply chain managerEnsure that the accuracy item master information & vendor information on the ERP system. Freight:Generate Shipping paperwork using syteline.Generate the freight paper work using the carrier packages.eg.
