AWS/ Python Developer / Architect - 6 months - London

Well know large corporate client is looking for a highly experienced AWS/ Python Developer/ Architect. This role primarily involves Python development using AWS technologies. The solutions will all be provided leveraging services available from AWS. It will involve working alongside a wide variety of people from desk analysts, AWS architects, data scientists and developers.

Required Experience

- Has taken intermediate to lead role on AWS platform

- Has built AWS platforms within enterprise environments

- Able to design and build functionality, using python, based on light specification through dialogue and questioning

- Can build relationships with business users to ensure successful delivery

- Worked on an AWS platform providing services to analysts and data scientists

Has developed within and using DevOps processes in a similar environment

- Able to contribute to design of implementations

- Full development lifecycle experience from development to deployment and support

Preferred Experience

- Has worked with financial products

- Experience of working with a trade desk, preferably in the energy or commodity sector

Technical skills

- Python 3 and common packages

- AWS development including Lambda, S3, Postgres, Redshift, Kafka, Dynamo, Cognito, API Gateway

- Demonstrable experience of using AWS in an enterprise environment

- Creating and using AWS provided APIs

- GitHub, DevOps, CI/CD
