Electronics Technician

You'll be based in a modern site in SloughElectronics technician role on offer for a well-established company that is rapidly expanding and can provide a modern environment to improve your skills and move into a senior level position.Do you have experience in electronics testing? Do you have good hands-on skills and some form of electronics qualification to support your experience?Established over 30 years ago, this company develops energy saving devices that are used in a wide range of applications and industries across the globe. They are currently looking for an electronics technician to join their R&D team and fit into their long-term plan of expanding and maintaining their globally-recognised brand.In this role you will be evaluating and testing new products, in a great environment where you'll be working with an experienced professional team. You will also have practical knowledge of general test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, power supplies as well as having hand-soldering skillsThe ideal person will be an electronics technician who has worked within the electronics or energy sectors with a good level of experience in soldering and working in a test environment to high standards, and is passionate about working as an important part of a small, focused team in a growing multi-national company.The Role:

*Electronics technician

*PCB Soldering (Surface mount and through-hole)

*Using various measuring equipment

*Device programming and configurationThe Person:*Electrical/electronic qualification (or equivalent)

*confident in hand-soldering

*Experience of testing electrical equipment

*Computer skills (general)

*Problem solving skills
