A growing business that is pioneering a better way of doing VoiP telephony; and seeing such a strong success, is keen to identify an exceptional, experienced Serverless API Developer to join its small team to help continue the growth story. Working from their Head Office in Croydon, you will be building, migrating and maintaining web applications and backend using AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway - ensuring they’re first rate and fully meet specification. As a Serverless API Developer, your duties will include:Understanding and implementing functional and non-functional requirements, translating them into high-quality, secure code.Participating in peer code reviews, both as reviewer and reviewee.Implementing and maintaining automated unit and functional tests where appropriate.Assisting with the development, migration, and deployment of applications into AWS.Debugging reported issues and maintaining optimal performance of applications.Remaining informed of the latest security vulnerabilities and developing with security in mind.Being motivated to learn and undertake self-initiated training. To be a successful Serverless API Developer, you will have the following skills and experiences:
A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.Industry-recognised certifications or qualifications (such as AWS Foundational).To be skilled with AWS Lambda, AWS Gateway, GoLang & Git.To be communicative, flexible, friendly, creative, motivated, erudite.Extensive demonstrable experience developing and maintaining non-trivial Applications.Solid experience with migrating and deploying existing applications into AWS.Experience of designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIs and WebSocket’s. In return, a Serverless Developer will receive a salary of up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
