Our Client are looking for Quality Inspector to perform quality inspection functions to control the quality of goods & products and to improve current processes & procedures.

The role requires knowledge and experience of: inspection techniques; control of non-conforming product; engagement with the supply chain; and production of Quality Assurance deliverables. A proactive approach to continual improvement opportunities will be required, supporting the Governance & Standards Manager in the coordination of continuous improvement activities, working with the business functions to ensure processes and procedures are up to date, efficient and align with standards promoting best practice.

Essential skills

- A proactive, responsive and self-motivated team player with a commitment to continuous improvement

- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- Proven experience carrying out supplier and internal audits

- Able to read and interrogate engineering drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

- Good IT skills (MS Office)

- Must hold a current UK driving licence
