My Public Sector client requires 2 technical authors to get all of the artefacts together to hand over to Service.

The candidate should be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a large team.

The technical author will assist with writing and supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily to stakeholders and members of the senior leadership team.

As the Technical Author you will develop, gather, and disseminate technical information from the customer, designers, engineers, and manufacturers.

The successful Technical Author must be able to translate technical Information into terminology that can be understood by non-technical staff.

Technical Author Requirements:

*Determine the needs of the test team regarding test documentation

*Keep consistency in test documentation and test results

*Work with technical staff to make understandable test plans

*Organise and write supporting documents for the tests.

*Standardise content across platforms and media

*Gather usability feedback from customer, engineers, and test team

*Revise documents as new issues arise

*Documentation of infrastructure, platform and services.

*Reviewing and auditing of technical information;

*Production of Service management artefacts from Scratch.

*Ability to interview and interact with technical specialist to extract necessary plans and process.

*Exemplar Word and PowerPoint/Visio skills

*Experience of Confluence/Jira highly desirable.
