I currently have an exciting opportunity for to join a growing IT company in Peterborough. Due to continuous expansion my client, an IT solutions provider are looking for an IT Sales Consultant to join their team.  Your role as the Sales Consultant will be to account manage existing clients, looking for opportunities to cross-sell new products to them; as well as generating new business too.Ideally you will come from the IT industry or have proven experience as an IT Sales Consultant, you will be able to have confident conversations with senior management and decision makers to ensure success. Engage with new and existing clients by contacting over the phone and arranging visits.'€¢

Negotiate terms of business; including prices, contracts and payments.'€¢

Actively pursue leads generated by various channels.'€¢

Effective manage existing accounts.'€¢

Keep yourself updated with industry changes and trends that might influence your market.

What you will need:

A Strong technical knowledge or understanding of IT systems and  software.'€¢

Strong business acumen and awareness of how business work.'€¢

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.'€¢

Experience of working with Sophos, Microsoft in addition to other IT solutions.'€¢

Be able to communicate complex IT solutions to different levels of people with various IT understanding.
