MID/SENIOR C++ DEVELOPER, Manchester, up to £50KOur client are seeking a talented C++ software developer to play a key role in the Embedded Systems team, assisting with development, testing, documentation and deployment of components in the Windows OS.Essential:- This is an advanced role therefore you must have high-level programming skills.
- Min 3 years experience building C++ applications, ideally for the Windows OS.
- Understanding core C++ concepts in detail (e.g. compiling, linking, memory management, virtual functions, immutability, smart pointers, implicit conversions, dynamic libraries, templates, lambdas, dynamic casting).
- Be familiar with building multi-threaded applications.
- Software Engineering or Computer Science background.
- Experience with software testing methods.
- Experience with code optimisation for performance gains.
- Ability to work to deadlines without sacrificing code quality.
- Excellent communication skills with the rest of the team.
