Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Team Lead to run a number of IT hardware systems within their business. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of highly skilled engineers managing multiple concurrent tasks with varying technologies.The right candidate will have the following skills below as well Team leading experience.Strong experience in a technical support and implementation role, with experience providing 3rd level support in a similar fieldIn-depth experience in technical support encompassing varying hardware and software platformsWindows OS maintenance, including software rollout procedures, Web administration, Active Directory Security, Group Policy configuration, Antivirus setup and management, Backup software setup and managementExperience in diagnosing and resolving website faults in the above technologiesExperience on providing helpdesk style technical support to internal and/or external usersVMWare ESX Administration skillsStorage Technologies such as ; EMC VNX, NetAPP, IBM, EqualLogicAbility to understand user requirements and translate into technical solutionsVaried Windows and Linux Operating Systems administration skillsExperience running IAAS in Azure or AWS.Microsoft 365 and Exchange email technologiesHigh Availability / Fault tolerance /Software Load balancing strategies/Hardware infrastructure fault tolerance experiencePlease do note the will be required to undertake on-call support duties where required.
