Test Analyst

Central London - 6 Month Contract

International Banking Group

£375 - £400pd

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a well-established IT Test Analyst to support testing activities for key projects within Front Office Technology.

We are looking for Testers who have worked in an agile environment with a good understanding of the ETL Process and experience in ETL Testing and Application testing. Candidates also need working knowledge of both Oracle and MS SQL Databases and should have good knowledge of SQL Queries. Experience in web services testing is also beneficial. It is important that candidates have had experience working in the banking or financial services industry.

Whilst this is an initial six-month contract, it is very common for contractors to remain on-site for 12-36 months, therefore it is very likely this contract will extend well beyond the initial six months. This bank is very pro-contracting and we receive extremely good feedback from the many individuals onsite here.

Skills & Experience Required

-5+ Years' Experience as a Test Analyst / Test Consultant / Test Engineer

-Understanding of ETL Process / ETL Processes

-Knowledge of ORACLE Database and MS SQL Database

-Experience of ETL Testing and Application Testing

-Knowledge of SQL Queries

-Experience working in an Agile Environment

-Experience of Web Services Testing (Desirable)

-Stakeholder Management Experience (Desirable)

-Ideally, ISEB or ISTQB Certified

Key Responsibilities include; Planning, Execution and Reporting of Testing Activities, Managing key stakeholder relationships, Designing and Executing Test Cases, Performing scripted testing and exploratory testing, support with UAT Testing.
