What to Expect in your role : Understand the strategic goals of the customer as an organisation and communicate them effectively to the teamMake clear and consistent decisions that are key to projects. This includes but is not limited to technology choices, needs for resources and prioritisation of tasks.Challenge strategic decisions made by the customer when necessary using a forward-thinking approachUnderstand the budgets of the customer and the project itself and take into consideration when planning.Work closely with the project's delivery manager to manage the technical team and handle communications with the customerWork closely with the customer's technical authority and stakeholders, building rapport and managing their expectationsCreate high level technical and security designs which bridge the gap between the business and technologyLead the technical team in an Agile, fast-paced environmentUse analytical thinking and experience to help the team resolve potential issues on development and live environmentsWork with the CTO to ensure that the technology and practises adopted in projects is aligned with their technology strategyOwn the technical solution and the technical riskIdentify potential new commercial opportunities within the customer.Design and develop and / or enhance digital servicesPromote exceptional user experiences Objective & Key Results : These are the expected objectives and key results for this role. Build award winning digital services Improve the Net Promoter Score (NPS) of the customer's website to at least 50 markAchieve over 90% score in all the Lighthouse audit dimensions (Performance, progressive web-app, best practises, accessibility and SEO)Work collaboratively with the customer to run three targeted digital campaigns Design, implement and operate state of the art digital platformDeployments to production for all web-applications are on demand (at least once per hour if required)Lead time for changes from source code repository commit to deployment to production is less than an hourAll web-applications self-heal in case of an incident.
