Senior Java DeveloperUp to £540 p/d6 MonthsHammersmithASAPMy client is a meta-data comparison website you will have heard of, providing travel and flight information to millions of customers a year. They are looking for a talented Senior java Developer to join their talented team on a new project based in Hammersmith.The successful candidate will have exposure to a cloud first environment, whereby you will be part of a cloud migration from AWS to GCP to start your role. The main project you will be working on will be a restructure of key elements of the companies core platform, where you will take ownership for the work you do and be a key part in the decision making process.Key SkillsFantastic experience with Core JavaGood exposure to a cloud platform (ideally GCP or AWS)Have a good blend of Push and RESTful API experienceExposure to complex systems with large amounts of dataWorked with Docker and KubernetesUse of testing frameworks (Junit and Mockito as standard)Work with distributed systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
