Business Analyst

Duration - 3 months

Pay - £350 per day

Location - Huddersfield

IR35 - INSIDE (MUST USE AN UMBRELLA COMPANY)

My client, a leading Research organisation, is looking for an experienced Business Analyst for an initial 3 months. You will be working on Requirements elicitation for a new Application development project. Like all major programmes the BA focus is to manage requirements, engineer processes and help implement technologies. You must have at least 5 years solid Business Analysis experience. Any experience of working in the Public sector is highly desirable, but not essential. You must have strong communication and stakeholder management experience. This contract is highly likely to extend past the initial 6 month duration.

The Person:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

*Extensive experience of working with stakeholders at all levels

*Experience of requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation.

*Experience of developing technical specifications

*Experience with using process mapping software

*Experience of providing a quality service in a pressurised environment

*Experience of dealing with requests for help in person, over the telephone and by email

*Ability to identify solutions which would benefit from the integration of key business systems

*Ability to provide in-depth support, advice and development for key business systems

*Ability to interpret business requirements and design an appropriate solution

*Ability to quickly and effectively solve work related problems in a logical and methodical manner

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*The ability to clearly explain concepts and solutions to customers with varying skills and abilities

*Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues

*The ability to relate to a wide range of customers in a patient, friendly and approachable manner

*Proven analytical and problem solving skills

*Adaptable, resourceful, self-motivated

*Mature, professional and flexible attitude to work

*Patience and ability to deal with people and situations when under pressure

*Strong customer service ethos, the tenacity to see problems/incidents resolved
