A software development company based in Bristol is looking for a Graduate Developer to join its team. The company has a strong background in training graduates and they constantly recruit, train and retain many developers every year in the UK and abroad. The company work on very large software systems that handle lots of transactions around the world. In the UK on busy days they will process over 20, 000 transactions per minute! They are a big player, but they still have a personal touch when it comes to staffing and employee relationships. As a Graduate Developer you will be responsible for:Working on existing large software development projects with house-hold customers in the UK and abroad.Programming very large and business-critical systems which handle huge amounts of transactions. Using technology and languages including TCL, Java, PHP, Docker and much more. The successful Graduate Developer will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum requirement is a 2.1 in a computer science-related field or equivalent.Must be able to demonstrate a talent for software development. You will be excited about working with very large and complex software development projects, will relish the opportunity to learn new techniques and software development procedures associated with very large and complex software development projects. In return, you will receive a salary of £23,850 - £26,925 pa. Benefits are selected by you and include as a minimum flexible working, health and life cover, dental cover.
