Operational Security Manager

Liverpool

4 Months initially (+ Extensions)

Pay rate - £450 - £475 per day

We have an excellent opportunity, with a blue-chip client, for an Operational Security Manager to join the team.

This is an excellent long term opportunity, with great scope for extension.

Key Skills & Experience:

*Review and update of ISO27001 documentation; ISMS related.

*Support and monitoring of the information security tool systems.

*Collation, production and delivery of monthly ITS security report.

*Collation, production and delivery of the InfoSec element of the monthly OpSec report.

*Production and delivery of the monthly internal audit for the assurance framework.

*Aid in the completion of audits on the IT Infrastructure ensuring compliance with NCSC guidelines and ISO27001 best practice.

*Aid with external audits as appropriate.

*Attend 3rd Party InfoSec forums and perform follow up actions.

*Supply InfoSec input into the Change Advisory Board.

*Aid the Head of security in ensuring compliance with contractual, legal and regulatory security requirements.

*Create/amend any relevant security polices and procedures.

*Management and reporting of IT Risks.

*Investigation into IT security incidents.

*Provide strategic support to the IT Teams and offer advice and guidance within the Information Security area.

*Day to day analysis of our abilities to resist, current and emerging threats.

*To keep a technical industry awareness of security risks and exposures and proactively promote effective counter-measures

*Ensure sufficient technical safeguards are in place to satisfy defined ISO27001 controls, and assist the IT Security Manager with educational and improvement programs to meet such standards

*Support the Group-wide IT security policy, to ensure appropriate measures are taken to secure the Group's records and data and minimizing IT security breaches

*Monitoring of Infrastructure estate, ensuring areas are technically secure and appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have good IT OpSec knowledge, Wider information assurance knowledge and ideally a formal InfoSec qualification - CISSP, ISO27001 Lead Auditor etc.
