My client are currently looking for a data centre manager to join them on a 3 month+ contract.

This role is responsible for:

*Managing capacity within the data centres - including liaising with commercial partners who have equipment in the data centres

*Drafting a new set of procedure notes to cover the operation / management of the data centres

*Liaising with contacts within departments and planning for future requirements

*Organising maintenance contracts and supervising regular testing of equipment such as the UPS

*Ensuring that the Estates team meet their obligations for servicing equipment and testing the emergency generators

*Participating in change management and business continuity meetings
