My rapidly expanding client at the forefront of the Autonomous vehicle technology sector has an urgent requirement for a Senior Software Engineer. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years Software Engineering experience and you will be part of a team bringing autonomous solutions to a wide range of sectors expanding the companies offering and portfolio of products.There is an excellent salary package plus excellent benefits on offer and we are looking for a talented individual who can:Architect, develop and maintain tools related to the various areas of the software development process, with a focus on increasing engineering productivity and decreasing risk with a focus on PythonDesign, develop and maintain tools that will improve the standard and productivity of the Python software development across the companyDevelop production-quality software as part of a teamWork closely with others to improve workflows related to building, testing and deploying our software, to accelerate our product developmentDrive adoption for best practices and help establish a higher standard of software developmentTalk and collaborate with internal development teams in order to produce test tools and test plansKnowledge of any of the following would be advantageous:A working knowledge of C++Integrating Python with other languages Experience with packaging software for production environmentsBuild SystemsContinuous integration systems (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab)Software testing frameworks (e.g. googletest, nose, pytest)Code quality metrics Code analysis tools e.g. mypy To find out more about this fantastic opportunity or to apply please contact Seamus Hayes at [email protected] or call on 0118 9840943.
