Principle Security Engineer. Opportunity to join a fast growing FinTech that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, cloud based technology and make a real impact.

As the Principle Security Engineer you will provide technical leadership to the wider Security Engineering team that is responsible for the design of security controls across the core banking platform as well as implementation and the operation of security tooling. Partnering with Security Assurance and technology teams you will ensure there is a robust set of controls in an Agile and cloud native environment. In this senior role you will face off to clients when required to provide insight on how the platform is secured alongside delivery and live operations. There's no legacy systems and little red tape to get through so you'll be able to get things done and make a real impact, rolling your sleeves up and getting hands-on if necessary.

You'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit; a well stocked kitchen / canteen area in a highly motivated team atmosphere with flexible working opportunities.

Requirements:

Expertise with at least one of the following: Identity and Access Management, Network Security, Data Security, Mobile Security, End User Security

Deep knowledge of at least one of the following security tools: Akamai, Apigee, Imperva, Forgerock, Threatmetrix, Dome9, Qualys and Fortify along with cloud native security controls

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences including clients

Ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments

Experience of managing and coaching more junior team members teams and providing technical leadership

Deep experience in securing public cloud environments, ideally AWS

Experience in securing mission critical, regulated workloads

Experience in securing end user computing environments exploiting Mac, Windows and M365
