QA Engineer

Location: London

Salary range: £50,000 - £60,000

At Arkk we build software solutions which simplify complex regulatory requirements for our customers.  As our QA Engineer you'll help us take our test-driven environment, and your career, to the next level, adapting traditional testing methods to an agile approach.

For over 10 years Arkk Solutions has been providing software which takes the risk out of regulatory, tax and financial reporting for global businesses.  Our products free up the finance functions of over 850 clients in 20 countries, including a quarter of the FTSE 350 and 10 of the top 20 UK accounting firms.  Right now, we're taking this success and scaling it, building out a continuous delivery environment as we grow.  And you'll be instrumental in helping us do just that.

This is not your normal QA Engineer role. As we move closer to a continuous delivery environment our team of developers are keen to take on the day to day testing of what they're building.  In this way we will ensure testing is never a bottleneck to delivery.  In this role you'll use your experience and vast knowledge of testing principles to coach and guide the team in best practice and help to make testing a part of our developers' everyday roles.

You'll take full ownership of our test coverage and product quality, delivered by guiding others in best QA practice.  You'll inspire those around you and help get the most out of everyone you work with.  You'll be working to:

Create a culture of quality, ensuring testing is a key part of everything we do

Help our team of developers take ownership of not just building their code but testing it too

Remove the usual QA safety net, this role will see not just detecting bugs, but preventing them from being written in the first place.

Together with our team of developers you'll carry out thorough testing that meets the highest standards.  By working on a range of innovative and interesting automation projects you'll aid us in reaching faster delivery times, ensuring we continue to lead the RegTech market, rolling out innovative and solution focused products in line with the ever-evolving Financial regulatory demands.

The perfect person is:

· Knowledgeable of all aspects of the QA Engineering process

· Experienced in automated testing as well as a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools.

· Great at communication with solid people skills, ideally with experience in coaching and developing others.

·  Ideally experience with our tech stack (.netcore, .net, javascript, c#)
