WordPress Web Developer - WordPress - Junior to MidBourne End SL8
£25,000 - £40,000 + Perks + Socials
We are looking for a pro-active individual with a fantastic understanding of the web (especially Wordpress), current technologies and emerging trends. If this sounds like you, lets chat!
We are a Drum Top 100 creative agency based in leafy Bucks. We work online and offline across a variety of sectors and are looking for a like minded Wordpress Web Developer to join us and become a key player in our successful team.
The Role in Brief:
+ Liaising with internal & external designers and developers to create pixel perfect responsive content managed sites
+ Liaising with clients on technical matters
+ Assisting Account Managers / Designers with technical advice, testing and quality assurance
+ Project requirements scoping and writing technical specifications
+ Hands-on coding experience with Wordpress, HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL and Javascript libraries
+ Managing maintenance and updates to existing sites
+ Assisting and mentoring junior development team
About You:
+ Ability to implement and follow business processes and procedures
+ Ability to work well in a busy team environment
+ Self motivated and keen to develop professional skills
+ Excellent eye for detail with ability to multi-task!
+ At least 2 years experience with hands-on coding
+ Experience in bespoke WordPress theme and plugin development
+ Experience working with PHP and JavaScript APIs to link external resources
+ Good knowledge of mobile-first development for maximum browser and device compatibility
+ Good understanding of version control (primarily git)
+ Good understanding of basic SEO principles
+ Basic server admin experience desirable
+ Knowledge of animations frameworks (e.g. ScrollMagic, GSAP, anime.js, three.js)
+ Experience of modern development workflow: ES6 JS, SCSS, Webpack or Gulp
