An exciting opportunity to join a brand new Engineering Team in the North East is now available and you could be a part of this! Your Role as a Senior PCB Design Engineer will be to take responsibility for the PCB design for both conventional SMD as well as thick copper boards used in Power Conversion. You will be interfacing with the Electronics and Mechanical team and an understanding of this would be an advantage.As the Senior PCB Engineer within the team you will be working with Mentor Graphics PADS Layout or DxDesigner and have an excellent understanding of PCB processes.If you would like to hear more please do not hesitate interview slots are available and the salary, benefits and opportunities with this company are not to be missed!Core Skills/Responsibilities include:- Designing dense double sided or four layer PCB'sPCB surface mountExperience of using PADS Logic, PADS Layout and DxDesigner software for design. Use other interface software to translate or transfer files (DXF and IDF).Perform design verification of own work as well as peer group.Assist in maintain/update/create library components and related policies and procedures.
