Spring technology are currently working in partnership with an award winning retail / commercial bank based in Manchester in recruiting for a number of enterprise architects to work specifically within their transformation programmes. The bank has customer service at its core and is seeking an enthusiastic individual that believes this philosophy and strives to achieve great things

Manchester

£80k - £96k + Package

Digital Enterprise Architect

You will lead the development of IT strategy and enterprise architecture as part of the digital journey for all customer facing channels. The customer proposition is changing and your role will be to ensure the IT direction and appropriate road maps are accurate moving the Bank forward and remaining competitive in key areas such as product development and customer journeys

Cloud Enterprise Architect

You will lead the development of the hosting strategy and architectural blueprint in the Banks modernisation journey which currently covers all core banking services. You will be supporting the journey into the cloud, outlining appropriate direction and development for a multi-cloud framework. You will lead technical migrations from traditional to cloud date structures

Key Responsibilities

* Guide significant architectural decisions within the bank to improve the systems and reduce risk

* Recommend and influence solution choices

* Translating complex business needs through enterprise architecture models

* Oversee implementation of IT solutions you have set the direction for

* Appreciation of the cloud / digital space and where the market is going, plus the key vendors the bank should be working with

You will need

* Proven Enterprise Architecture experience within Financial Services / Banking specialising in either Digital or Cloud technologies

* Strong technical background to ensure you can be hands on or detail highly technical specifications where required

* Exceptional leadership in complex solution choices, business challenges and behavioural judgement when balancing commercial and strategic decisions

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management - you should be considered an expert, an influencer and the 'go to' person around a specific architecture area
