Business Change Manager

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Global Change and Communications Manager to join our transformation team in London, and work collaboratively with the wider project team to enable the successful delivery of a critical initiative, which will ensure that our international programming team have the right level of technical expertise (TE), in the right place, and focused appropriately.  

TE is critical for ensuring we design and deliver quality programmes, build national capacity, and disseminate our learning on what works best for children. The initiative has been underway for about a year, and has a detailed project design across a number of work streams, it's a complex project that has a high level of visibility and interest across the Save the Children movement, and a wide range of stakeholders involved.

In order to be successful you will have/bring;

Proven experience of using and leading change management activities including change impact assessment, stakeholder analysis, managing resistance, building change capacity, designing and defining roles and responsibilities

A proven ability to resolve issues swiftly and decisively whilst safeguarding standards and procedures

Proven experience of developing and implementing a communications plan, including developing communication materials appropriate to different stakeholders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good management and influencing skills with experience of working with senior level executives

Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and mobilise individuals within or outside their reporting lin

Cultural awareness and experience of delivering solutions internationally

Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%

It would also be helpful if you have experience within Organisational Design projects

This role is offered on the basis of an initial 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential for extension, and a salary of up to £60Kpa.  Benefits include a company pension scheme and 30 days annual leave
