Lead AX Finance Consultant - Home Based - NEW AX PRACTICE

Who is my client?

My client is a European Microsoft Gold Partner looking to grow their practice in the UK. With a successful array of global implementations, including several UK based projects, my client is looking to fully instill its service within the UK Dynamics AX Channel, and grow their scope in the market.

This is an opportunity for a passionate, entrepreneurial self starter to implement their experience and knowledge with Dynamics AX in a financially stable, fresh start up practice. You will be a founding member of the team, holding the opportunity to move into senior positions quickly as the team grows, and have a pivotal impact on the operations of a growing AX practice!

What does my client need?

My client requires a knowledgeable specialist of Dynamics AX, with at least 4-5 years experience with the technology. Candidates will offer a strong level of functional expertise with Dynamics AX, ideally built across multiple versions (AX4.0, AX2009, AX2012), and with a focus on finance/ accounting.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Taking a lead approach to my clients business critical implementation projects in the UK

- Business Process Analysis/ Process Mapping/ Requirement Gathering

- Documentation development/ FDD creation

- Functional Installation/ Testing (UAT)

- Key user training - development/ delivery of training sessions

- Project GO-Live Support

- Support/ consultancy surrounding new projects/ upgrades/ advancements

Skill set

- Proven experience working in a consulting or business analysis role on end-to-end AX implementations

- AX 4.0/ AX2009/ AX2012 project experience

- Functional understanding of the Dynamics AX solution

- Broad modular background/ understanding - strong focus on finance/ accounting

- Sure Step delivery methodology experience

- Strong academic background. MS Certifications (Preferable, not essential)

- Confident communication skills, proven experience in customer/ user facing environment

Location

This position is primarily home based and candidates will spend 1-2 days a week on-site with customers. If you are looking for a role which offers manageable travel to sites, with all the benefits of a permanent, consultancy role - this is for you.

A basic salary up to £60k
