Azure Data Solution Architect Microsoft's leading partner for Azure Data Platform and Power BI are seeking a skilled Data Solution Architect to join their team and lead engagements with a range of FTSE 250 and FTSE 100 organisations, as they modernise their Data Platform solutions and make use of the Microsoft Azure Cloud.You'll be a hands-on technical consultant in your current role, with a desire to keep it that way. Even at Director level in this organisation they're still up to date with the latest technology developments as knowledge-sharing and constant learning is key. Principal consultants are still expected to assist with hands-on work where needed too.You'll work across the project lifecycle, including pre-sales and client on-boarding efforts, as well as solution design and small amounts of development work. You'll be also involved in delivering training sessions to clients and advising on data/technology strategy.This role would particularly suit those who are finding that their next promotion involves becoming hands-off, and want to remain in a hands-on role while still seeing them progress up to the next level of responsibility.You'll be a mixture of client-site and office-based, roughly 50/50 on each. Clients are largely based in the Greater London area (around 75%), with others fairly evenly spread across the UK. While most of the time you'll be home every evening, flexibility to travel to client site and stay overnight (expenses paid) is essential.Key skills/experience- Previous/Current Consultancy background (MS Partner preferred)- Experience in designing/delivering Azure Data Platform Solutions using any of the following; Data Factory, Data Lake, CosmosDB, Databricks, Snowflake, Azure SQL DB, EventHubs, Streaming Analytics, etc.- Experience in Power BI implementations- Excellent SQL Server Skills (or comparable on-premises experience in Oracle, IBM etc. This is a Permanent position, offering a competitive starting salary that usually falls in the £90-110,000 range, plus bonus and benefits.For this, and other exciting roles in Azure Data Platform and Power BI, contact Owen Mitchell on 0191 338 7552 or [email protected] in complete confidence.Nigel Frank are the UK's leading Power BI and Azure Data Platform recruiter, offering more opportunities across the UK than any other.
