Field Support Consultant - East Anglia - 2monthsA UK schools IT outsourcing company are looking for a talented individual to join them as a Field Support Consultant. Providing input and design support with schools, assisting in developing windows deployment toolkits and deployment solutions. You will also have a consultative approach, joining in with vision/strategy meetings and providing mentoring where needed. The role will allow you to work from home however, you will be required to visit sites across the East Anglia region.Responsibilities:You will be expected to oversee complex implementations that you will design in consultation with schools, engineers and stakeholders.To take ownership of multiple sites across East Anglia.You will be the primary escalation point for engineers.Designing solutions around windows development toolkits and their implementation.You will also be expected to perform various consultancy duties including site visits for vision and strategy meetings and mentoring duties of engineers/designers.Skills:The company need someone with extensive Windows and Windows Server knowledge, as well as SCCM, MDT and Virtualisation knowledge (Hyper-V and VMware).The role does involve remote working and working from home, however you will be expected to visit sites across East Anglia so a willingness/ability to travel is important.The role involves presentations and contributions to meetings so communication, time management, customer focus and problem solving are important.The role requires the candidate hold an active EDBS certificate, however the company will consider candidates that do not.
