We currently require the services of a Senior Front End Developer to work for a well respected client based in Cambridge,As a front-end developer in the Services Development team, you will build and develop a hybrid mobile app that will be used by our team. You'll be using JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue and working with Ionic/Cordova to deliver an innovative new mobile app running on Android smartphones.
The team you'll be joining is building and scaling our cloud-based service platform that supports customers and distribution. The platform delivers mobile payment systems, business and distributor information systems, mobile apps and data and analytics platforms.
As a front-end developer, you will be working in an agile Scrum team with software engineers, designers, test engineers and our distribution, logistics, operations and finance teams.
Key skills required:
Solid grasp of modern web technologies (HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript)Strong JavaScript coding skillsExperience of building single page web applications using frameworks such as React, Angular or VueProven experience of Ionic / CordovaDeep understanding of front end application architectureHands-on experience developing and integrating web applications with RESTful or GraphQL servicesKnowledge of unit testing and test automation tools and techniques for browser-based user interfacesExperience of continuous integration and deployment systemsA good degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant subject
