Oracle - ERP - Payroll - Oracle Fusion - HR - Data - Cloud - Implementation - on-premise - Oracle R12Agile Coach with solid experience in an agile coach or scrum master role previously as well as a scrum master certification is needed for the next 9 months in Truro with the added bonus of split homeworking.Truro and Remote£500-£550 per day9 Months ContractThe client IT department is undergoing a phased transformation from a traditional project delivery environment to an Agile delivery model and with this require an agile coach. This is a critical role and will be responsible for simultaneously guiding the agile transition from the 'bottom up' and from the 'top down' with enthusiasm and passion. Responsibilities include:Close liaison with IT management to perform a benchmark assessment of Agile Maturity. This will involve interviewing customers, stakeholders and team members. The findings will then feed into the IT Transformation strategy and continuous improvement initiativesAd-hoc coaching of teams to ensure team charters and team policies such as 'Definition of Ready', 'Definition of Done', 'Work in progress' limits and 'Pull criteria' are implemented correctly and that team Scrum and Kanban boards are visible to all and 'set up for success'Ad hoc coaching during ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand ups, retrospectives, 'show and tells', Scrum of Scrums and Release planning. In some cases it may be necessary to lead these ceremonies initially, then hand over to the teams.Coaching team members at all organisational levels in 1:1's where required and working with IT management to create and implement a wide range of development plans to 'up-skill' our team members, stakeholders and customersWorking closely with Scrum masters and Agile Delivery Managers to implement appropriate Agile estimation techniques and coach how to use agile delivery tools to plan velocitiesCoaching Product Managers to build quality programme roadmaps and with regards to how to perform the Product Owner role on their respective scrumsCoaching the entire team to begin to think in terms of Minimum Viable Products that will enable valuable learning about our customers needs, instead of complete solutions.Working closely with Scrum masters and Agile Programme management to implement an appropriate Agile KPI's and metric reporting framework - There may not be a 1 size fits all approach.Working closely with IT management, assurance teams and budget holders to define and agree an appropriate agile governance framework to ensure the right level of governance to ensure 'quality at pace' whilst satisfying internal audit and senior stakeholders (e.g. - Promoting the concept of stage funding for elaboration sprints, funding for innovation sprints and guiding those who are not used to iterative product development through the changes to the delivery model)Essential Experience3+ Years in an Agile Coach, Scrum Master or Agile PM roleLeadership, including coaching and mentoring of staffStrong soft skills including communication, facilitation, situational awareness and conflict resolutionStrong demonstrable knowledge of a range of Agile tools such as Jira, LeanKit, Rally, Trello, Microsoft TeamsIndustry specific training such as Scrum Master Certification (PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM II, Certified SAFe Scrum Master), Agile Coach certification and training such as 'Leading SAFe'If you are interested in the role and have the essential experience please send your up to date CV to and give Jonny Dent a call at People Source Consulting on 0117 9309 767.Oracle - ERP - Payroll - Oracle Fusion - HR - Data - Cloud - Implementation - on-premise - Oracle R12
